According to the 2024 World Rankings by the Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC), Universit Maragheh has been ranked among the top universities worldwide for the second consecutive year, holding a position of 2001+.
The ISC World University Rankings, launched in 2018 by the Islamic World Science Citation Center, aim to evaluate universities in Iran and Islamic countries globally.
This year, 2,661 universities from 114 countries across six continents were included in the ranking. Among them, 72 universities are from Iran. The evaluation criteria focused exclusively on universities that published at least 850 documents in the Web of Science database during the period 2020 to 2022.
