Aim of this short research visit (3 months) will be the integration of data on olive pomology, fruit quality, chemical profile, and yield of olive oil from different European and Iranian olive cultivars exposed to various abiotic stresses with those obtained in Italy during the visit or already present in literature or databases, to perform a systematic meta-analytic predictive study. With the implementation of this research, genotypes that have high photosynthetic efficiency and high oil accumulation will be introduced for the development of cultivation in sub-tropical regions of the country.
