Abstract

This paper discusses the numerical solution of second-order oscillatory IVPs. The advantage of the new method is that it is high-order explicit method and thus will not require additional predictor stages. Also, it can be used as the predictor stage in other predictorcorrector methods. From the numerical results obtained by the new method to well-known problems, show the superior efficiency, accuracy, stability of the method presented in this paper.
