Tetrel bonding interaction is interesting, especially in terms of constructing supramolecular network structures. The tetrel bonds play an important role for constructing Pb-containing supramolecular architectures. the construction of lead(II) SMOFs based on covalent and non-covalent tetrel bonding have been reported [1-3]. In these SMOFs, Pb⋯N/S tetrel bonding interactions interconnect the covalently bonded units into supramolecular assemblies. In fact, tetrel bonds with hemi-directionally coordinated Lead commonly occur with high predictable geometries, thus playing an important role in the solid-state chemistry of Lead.
