A posemigroup S is right po-noetherian if every right S-poset congruence on S is finitely generated. In this paper, we present some fundamental properties of right po-noetherian posemigroups, discuss how posemigroups relate to their substructures with regard to the property of being right po-noetherian, and investigate whether this property is preserved under various posemigroup constructions.
