Abstract

The capability of thriving under existing site conditions is ultimately more important is to select plants and sumac as a shrub is widely spread in subtropical and temperate areas throughout the world is good option. The six accessions of sumac were investigated for palmitic acid (PA), oleic acid (OA), linoleic acid (LA) stearic acid (SA), gondoic acid (GA), γ-Sitosterol (GS), total identified (TI), cembrene (CB:), monounsaturated fatty acids (MO) and double bond index (DBI). Visual analysis was done by trait biplot model. The accession Yazd showed moderate positive correlation with the accession Tovrivar while it showed nearly zero correlation with the accession Kashmar. Also, the accession Arasbaran, showed nearly zero correlation with the accession Kashmar, and the accession Gonabad, showed nearly zero correlation with the accession Maragheh. The accession Tovrivar showed high negative correlation with the accession Arasbaran. According to ideal tester pattern of biplot the OA and MO were the nearest testers to position of Ideal Tester followed by GA, PA, and GS. The most unfavorable traits based on position of Ideal Tester, were DBI, LA, CB and TI. In general, based on this study, it can be advised that the studied accessions indicated high variability and could be used for achieving high benefits in usage.
