چکیده

Swelling soils which crack considerably during dry seasons are needed to be managed very carefully. Applying soil amendments to prevent soils from cracking may be a useful attempt in this regard. Therefore, the current research is aimed to check Chitosan and Gum Arabic effects on these soils. In this regard, a factorial experiment based on complete randomized design (CRD) with two factors including different soil amendments (Gum Arabic and Chitosan) and different amounts of soil amendments with three replications will be carried out in this research. Then, several soil characteristics including different soil hydraulic and structural characteristics will be evaluated.
