Introduction: Sport interacts closely with social factors and institutions such as family, school, religious institutions, and media. The purpose of this study was to investigate the consequences of sports development and sports acculturation in society. Methodology: The statistical population of the study includes all the general population of Urmia. The sample size was determined based on the Krejcie & Morgan (1970) table of 384 selected individuals. In this research, a research sample of 450 people was selected and the process of data distribution and collection was done randomly. The data collection tool was a researcher-made questionnaire whose validity and reliability was confirmed. Results: The results showed that the development of sports culture in society has consequences such as socialization, lifestyle, improving family relationships, social inclusion, the development of values, as well as globalization. Discussion and Conclusion: Considering the role of exercise in human health, cultivation, gilding, the numerous effects and benefits that physical and sports activities have on the freshness, vitality, efficiency of human resources. Utilizing all methods and software and hardware facilities in encouraging people to sports activities is necessary and inevitable.
