In Iranian law, there is no institution called adoption; But supporting orphaned children and taking care of them has always been important in Islam. Iran's legislature passed a law on March 29, 1353 called the "Protection of Unaccompanied Children" law. The "Protection of Unsupervised Children" law approved in 1353 did not respond to the needs of today's society, for this reason a new law entitled "Protection of Unsupervised and Unsupervised Children and Adolescents" was approved in 1392 for the guardianship of unsupervised and unsupervised children. Superintendent conditions were explained in the law. This article, with a descriptive-analytical method, tries to express the conditions of guardianship of orphaned children for applicants and unmarried women in Iranian law. According to the Law on the Protection of Unsupervised and Poorly Caregiver Children of 2013, in order to better meet the needs of welfare children, this possibility has been provided for eligible single girls over 30 years of age to be able to take care of a girl child. In fact, from the point of view of society and law, the growth and life of a child in a family environment is important even if that family is a single parent and the father is not present and only the mother is present. According to the researches, guardianship of orphaned children by single women has far more advantages than disadvantages.
