Blueberry (Vaccinium spp.) is host for over 15 viruses. So far, only blueberry mosaic associated virus (BlMaV) and blueberry leaf mottle virus (BLMOV) have been reported from Turkiye by DAS-ELISA and/or PCR analysis. In order to study known viruses and potential novel viruses infecting blueberries, high-throughput sequencing (HTS) as well as RT-PCR were employed to analyze virome of symptomatic cultivated and wild blueberries in Turkiye.
