Abstract
|
In this work, we introduce a new nonstandard finite difference (NSFD) scheme to approximate solutions of a system of partial differential equations (PDEs) which is called St. Venant equations. To illustrate the accuracy of the designed new nonstandard scheme, we compare the numerical results obtained by the new scheme with the results of the Lax method.
