Abstract
|
CO3 (O)Y was found to be a simple and efficient method for the one-pot synthesis of spirooxindole 4-H pyrans derivatives by means of three- component condensationreaction of Isatins, malononitrile or ethyl cyano acetate and cyclic 1,3 diketons in an aqueous medium. Zeolite-Y is of great interest for encapsulating metal complexes due to the larger size of the super cages. In the case of zeolite –Y, three-dimensional network of approximately spherical of about 1.3 n.m in dia- meter connected tetrahedrally through 0.74 n.m windows provide enough space for many coordination compounds.
