Title Efficient H2 Generation Using Thiourea-based Periodic Mesoporous Organosilica with Pd Nanoparticles
Type JournalPaper
Keywords Formic acid decomposition | H2 generation | Mesoporous materials
Abstract Highly dispersed Pd nanoparticles ca. 2 nm in size are successfully synthesized within the mesochannels of a newly designed mesoporous organosilica containing thiourea-based bridges (TU-PMO) embedded within the pore walls. The supported Pd catalyst shows a superior activity and recyclability for the catalytic dehydrogenation of formic acid in water.
