Abstract

Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) is a strong and eco-friendly oxidant that produces only H2O and O2 as by-products of the reactions. It has been applied in the paper industry, organic transformations, [1] sterilization, [2] wastewater treatment, and fuel cells [3]. H2 O2 also serves as a clean energy alternative with an energy density comparable to compressed hydrogen (35 MPa) and offers greater convenience and safety in stor- age and transportation [4]. The annual demand for H2 O2 is 2.2 million tons, which is expected to reach 5.7 million tons by 2027
